- The Cottage at Clos Géor, 81140 Cahuzac-sur-Vère, is offered for holiday rental by Ken and Marlene Mills, the Owners.
- To reserve the Cottage, please complete and sign the booking form and send it to the Owners, along with a non-refundable deposit payment of 25% of the total rental. Upon receipt of the completed and signed booking form and the deposit payment, a confirmation of the booking will be sent to you.
- The balance of the rent, together with a damages deposit of £100 (130€), is payable not less than six weeks before the start date of the rental period. If payment is not received by the due date, we reserve the right to treat this as a cancellation. Bookings made within six weeks of the start date of the rental period require full payment at the time of booking.
- The damages deposit of £100 (130€) does not limit the Tenant’s liability to the Owners. You must report to the Owners, without delay, any defects in the property or breakdown in the equipment and arrangements will be made for repair or replacement as soon as possible. Costs of damages, breakages or failure to leave the property in a clean and orderly condition will be explained and deducted appropriately. In normal circumstances, where there are no breakages/damage, a full refund of the damages deposit will be made within 7 days of departure.
- We advise that comprehensive travel insurance is taken out by the Tenant at the time of booking. This should include cancellation cover, full cover for the Tenant’s personal belongings and public liability as the Owners’ insurance does not cover these items.
- The rental period shall commence at 4.00pm on the first day and finish at 10.00am on the last day. The Owners shall not be obliged to offer the accommodation before the time stated and the Tenant shall not be entitled to remain in occupation after the time stated.
- The Owners are not liable to the Tenant for: any faults or interruption to the supply of public services to Clos Géor Cottage; any loss, damage or inconvenience caused to or suffered by the Tenant as a result of weather conditions, riots, wars, strikes or other matters beyond their control.
Should Clos Géor Cottage become uninhabitable before the start of the rental period, a full rental refund will be made. No further liability will be accepted by the Owners. - The Tenants and all visitors using Clos Géor Cottage do so entirely at their own risk. No responsibility will be accepted for injury, loss or damage to property, including personal belongings, vehicles and their contents.
- Smoking is not allowed inside the Cottage or around the pool.
- Bed linen and towels (but not pool towels) are provided. They are automatically changed at the end of each week. If you require more frequent changes you should request this at the time of booking (please note that there will be an additional charge for this).
